Teens Dramatic Writing Prompts

Write a poem or story that reads as if it is beautiful, but is actually about something rather tragic.

For example, you might write about a beautiful sunset in an apocalyptic world, or a poem about the good things about heartbreak.

Write a story about someone who is famous, but their fame resulted from a tragic event.

The story could be about a day in their famous life, or could centre on how they feel about the tragic event that led to it.
