An elegy is a poem written about someone’s death, usually to grieve or appreciate them. Make this elegy have a hopeful, positive tone.

Write a diary entry of a terminally ill patient.

Does this character feel fear, calm, sadness? What might they articulate to a private diary entry?

Write a story where the protagonist begins to lose their sense of taste.

This is a real condition called ageusia. Try to imagine creatively how someone with this condition would feel whilst eating food.

Describe what your house has turned into 500 years into the future.
