They must not have been accepted.

They would’ve said something by now.

It’s been all day. They haven’t been accepted.

“Let’s go talk to your admissions counselor,” I tell them. They don’t want to go but I have to know…

“They got in!” The counselor says. Drew is in shock. I nudge them and say, “I told you you have what it takes.” They begin to shake and cry. “Hey hey! What’s wrong?” My wife asks Drew. They look like they are going to vomit.

“I didn’t think I could do it.” Drew sobs tears of relief and joy.
