Writing Prompt

There was something that sometimes felt magical about the woods by my cousin's house the way sun light filtered through the trees and even if you didn’t see it you could practically feel it teaming with life.

Tracy and I were trying to navigate our way to a well known spot in the woods. We fallowed some dear trails or forced our way through if we had to and eventually, we found it still covered in...

Fire lit stardust,

And aromatic splendour,

Just breathe it all in....

The only sounds I want to hear right now, is the light whoosh of the April wind, the distant rumble of the occasional passing car and my thoughts.

I want to lie here on this slightly damp grass , surrounded by only the colour green and this red flame, lost.

I’m not here to escape but to discover.

Have you ever noticed that nothing is a solid colour? ...
