I lay my lambs Down to rest I hate my life He sucks their chest
Late at night When I’m asleep The goats are out And he does eat
I lay in bed And listen close The screams are loud I swig a dose
I wake up early My goats are dead I bury them deep He has been fed
I cry in vain My goats bleed out Within the dirt I sit and pout
Life is done I am complete The sun has set They do not bleat
It was a chilly night in the forests if Puerto Rico. It was also a full moon. The moist and damp atmosphere of the forest was refreshing to certain men.
Madelyne was setting up camp in the forest of Nicaragua. The fire she had created was weak, only giving out short-fused embers. The sky reinforced the gloomy atmosphere powerfully. Alone in the woods, Madelyne was incredibly vulnerable.
It was near half past ten when she heard the growl. It was a strong, fearless, and distinct growl. It bore a strong sense of superiority over the predators among the forest. Out of shock, Madelyne briskly pulled out the hunting knife she had kept inside the tent. She grabbed a spare piece of firewood and lit the end with the fire - if you could still even call it a fire.
It was some time before she heard the same distinct growl again. She heard it from behind her, so in an instant she turned. Her heart was beating with anxiety.
As a child, Madelyn was often bullied. This experience gave her a thick skin for emotions. This was why even when she was anxious, she stood strong and looked confident.
She heard leaves rustling from behind her. Whatever the creature was, it must have been larger than her. By now, she was covered with sweat.
The rustling noise came closer and closer. Her heartbeat felt like it had exponentially grew.
A figure emerged amongst the canopy of leaves and bushes. It stood ten feet tall, bearing large, dark, menacing eyes and protruding sharp spines across the back. The reptile had an arched back and trotted on it’s hind legs. The creature roared the same roar, this time with more power.
The great creature had paralysed Madelyne. She looked all around but there was no where to hide. She had to run.
She threw the flaming piece of firewood and hurled the hunting knife towards the monster, and sprinted opposite it.
She arrived back at home, smothered with vicissitudes of a day’s terrors. When she cane back the next day, her tent was thrashed and the hunting knife was no where to be seen.
This creature, which was soon to be known as El Chupacabra, lives on among the tales and legends of strange and mythical creatures.
I gazed off into the horizon, the lush jade green grass coated the rolling hills. the dominant sun loomed over all emitting glimmering beams of light to which it deemed worthy. As I looked around a peculiar sight which I had not noticed before caught my attention, a charcoal grey blur encasing a vacant estate. Everything about the house was ancient and decrepit apart from the one door which stood tall, the rims coated with gold that shone through the dusk. It was out of place it didn't belong there it was too pristine too well kept.
I decided this couldn't signify anything it was just my mind playing tricks on me. As euphoria galloped through the atmosphere it reminded me of the innocent yet audacious person I used to be and still could be... My eyes darted back to the mysterious abundance of fog, and I knew what I had to do.
As I sprinted through the glorious meadow, flowers tickling my feet as I passed. I had discovered the most had begun to clear revealing the most luxurious of doors yet this time it wasn't attached to a house. I was startled by this sudden transformation I had never know of anything like this to occur before it was so bizarre yet extraordinary. As I reached the door I realized it was much more than I additionally thought, elegant, luxurious and mysterious I thought to myself what more could it be it's already flawless. Then I heard something clawing at the bottom of the door I peered around to see what it was but there was nobody there. I pondered one of the most outrageous ideas but there was no way it could possibly be. The only way to test my assumption was to open the door as I did I saw it I was right my legs buckled not Being able to carry my weight any longer and to my disbelief, it was more remarkable than anything I'd ever seen if only you'd seen it.
