Marigold
My life is so short I have not been here long But I’m ready to dock at port If only my sails weren’t wrong
I bloom once Once per lifetime And share my golden sunlight Before going into my dark times
I give you a show Hoping you’ll save me But deep inside I know You’ll leave my ship be
I’m stuck forever Knowing I’ll drown I can only hope A better future is found
Flower Girl
Listless and yawning, her gentle frame bows down.
Even in this state, she is beautiful. There is something so soft and delicate about her, so much so, I worry that looking at her too long might harden her in some way.
How can something so beautiful be real?
I feel ashamed briefly, at the murmur of self loathing in my ear. I tell her to quiet down, she has no place here.
Just, oh how I wish that I too were a flower girl. Even if I were to contort my frame into her posotion, I would feel a poser, a fraud.
And so, I’ll admire her from afar and imagine in another life that I too am beautiful.
My ADVENTURE
I am going on a Adventure of waterfall nature Because I really love to exploring New living days I really love to discover This lavender flower because it is nice and Purple plant I even thought of how pretty and cool things and I even Thought About how much Lavender smells into the Fresh breeze into the sky I Never felt fantastic Start pushing lavender Into the air to me, I like Smell of it because it is make waterfall Sense When I close my eyes, all I want to do is Sketch It while I am listening to Music it is my heart will go on and I feel like so alive and speechless about it
A Strong, Silent Flower
Her brave and bold yet kind, generous soul. She overcomes the biggest obstacles. Her smile makes her seem loyal. Her elegance makes the world fall silent.
She may seem taller than the others but she is, to me, the most beautiful one in the entire field. I may not know everything that she is, but I hope one day I could be as loving and nurturing as her.
She is pure, kind, graceful, and calm She is devoted, luxurious, and untroubling Her heart may not look gold on the outside, but she sure does have a lot of dignity.
She is not royalty though she may act like it, she is actually much more ambitious than one may think. She knows what’s she wants and tries to get it. She knows how to have the power without hurting others.
Now what is this poem even talking about? Who could it be, you may ask? The thing is…it’s not even a person, but a beautiful flower that looks delicate but is strong.
This flower I described…has a lot of wisdom, it’s motherly nature makes me carefree. What do you think this flower might be? I won’t tell you, wait and see.
Dusty Pink
Emerging from within, a jagged scar of concrete, a lone flower, crooked, leaning,
dusty pink petals, heavy head, bowing, trembling, as if unsure of her place in a vast world.
I notice her because I, too, am leaning, heavy head, bowing, trembling, uncertain of my place.
I pluck her, gently, tenderly, place her in my hair, dusty pink against tangled blonde. Glance around, smiling, at the immense world, my jagged concrete home.
I Like You
Luminous petals, lush Swirls of lustrous butter, magenta or snow white Sheltering a bulbous spiky yellow Center, I liked you before I knew your name Languid hairy stems, splayed leaves Beneath your heady blossoms An inner weed, tenacious, dangerous To be beautiful and bitter A floral femme fatale yet your name Ranunculus, a tongue twister Setting you apart from commonplace cousins spearwort and buttercups Setting you above supermarket specials roses and carnations Makes you my bright favorite
Lilly Of The Valley
Lilly of the valley Her beauty’s full of youth. She smells so nice, it will entice She’s beautiful and cruel.
Lilly of the valley Her skins as pale as rice. Her eyes show of an innocent Her stares as cold as ice.
Lilly of the valley Oh how I fell for you! Your bell shaped dress, hair in a mess You are quite the view.
Lilly of the valley Your merciless, you are! You grabbed my neck and stopped the blood From coming to my heart.
Lilly of the valley You poisoned my whole life I took a bite, with all my might Your Hati, I’m your pawn
Lilly of the valley Oh Lilly of the valley! Your beauty doesn’t show what’s within!
Lilly of the valley! Oh Lilly of the valley! How much pain and suffering you bring!
Lilly of the valley You kill me from inside! Yet your beauty is all I see Even as I die.
Lilly of the valley Oh Lilly of the valley! Darling, how could you be so cruel?
