“Isabel?” Lea wandered the corridors alone. “Isabel?” She called out again hoping for a reply from her friend she had just briefly seen after so many years.

Lea had saw someone come into this building and Lea recognized it, it was where Lea last saw Isabel before she left.

Lea found in an empty hallway Isabel’s phone. Her phone made a buzzing noise & Lea picked it up. She opened Isabel’s phone to see all the messages she had sent Lea but Lea had never opened any of them thinking they were all like “I hope you have a happy life now that you left me to for.”but none of them were like that. There were messages from Isabel ranging from “How are yous” to “Are you there?”, Lea felt like she betrayed Isabel. Let her down and abandoned her alone those years ago. But then her eyes stumbled upon a message that she was going to send, it read “Hey, Lea, so I’m thinking of leaving Rico for good so I just wanted to say over all these years I still never regretted kissing you. I hope to see you soon.”. Lea ‘s heart beated faster…

“She never regretted it huh?” Lea mumbled to herself. Lea looked up trying to stop herself from thinking on it to hard. But then she saw a person walking past her.

“Hello?” Lea called out to the person.

The person’s hair swayed in the air as the person turned around to face Lea.

“Yes?“ The person froze seeing Lea. The person’s face had softened then looked shocked.

“Isabe-.” Tears choked Lea’s throat. Lea clenched Isabel’s phone to her heart tight. Isabel noticed her phone in Lea’s hands.

“Lea I-.” Isabel barely had time to finish before Lea ran up and hugged her.

“You have no idea how long I’ve been wanting to see you.” Isabel managed to say over the tears in her eyes.

Isabel hugged Lea tight.

“Just message me next time.” Isabel said as the two continued to hug.

A message, just a singular text can change so much.
