Red Dot
A red dot. What a simple and easy weapon. You just pull the trigger and... boom. Dead. Emma couldn't hide the disgust on her face. She hated killing, but her job did require it, so she preferred to feel the life drain from the other. It was the least she could do. Aros would just let her apologize later. If she could find the guts too, at least.
Emma was expecting this. They wouldn't let her go for long. Actually she expected to be found much faster. Looks like she overestimated them. Yes, Emma was expecting this, that's why she picked this specific city block. Dark and mysterious. No one said Emma didn't like dramatics.
The concrete was wet from the rain, making her footsteps sound sloppy and wet. City lights were shining from the ground. Blinding, to a certain point. Emma put her hair up as she turned the corner.
This was going to be fun.
