In the small town Luke always lived in, everyone knew everyone. It was charming, and full of joy and festivity. One day, something changed. For the better or for worst. A new habitant arrived. A handsome boy named Tom. Tom came from the city, filled with noise, and where everything felt impersonal and personal at the same time. He felt lost, and didn’t know where to look. The locals, on the contrary, knew exactly where to look. All eyes were on Tom anywhere he would go. It was justified though. His charming manners, and elegant way of speaking attracted many girls.

As he entered the small cafe where Luke worked, the small bell on the door rung, attracting Luke’s attention towards the young man. With a smile, Tom spoke.

“Hey! I’m new in town, and I’m completely lost. Could you help me?”

After Luke gave instructions to Tom, they exchanged numbers.

Every night since then, they text each other. Their relationship was purely platonic. At least that’s what Luke thought.

After a month of flirting, Tom finally asked Luke to meet up.

On the day they agreed to meet, Tom was so nervous he arrived at the rendez-vous point an hour in advance. Multiple girls came to flirt with him, but he rejected them all.

When Luke arrived, two girls were talking to him. But as Luke walked towards him, the only thing he could focus on was him. In Tom’s eyes, Luke was the most beautiful human to ever walk the earth.

At the end of the date, Luke took Tom’s hand. They laughed together, like they had never before. Tom never felt so safe around a person.

It was at this moment that Tom realized he wanted to be with this person. He wanted to be with Luke. He needed to be with Luke.
