Be Here Now
Inhale.
Take in realizing relief of where you are.
That there’s more within the body’s pit.
Say good morning in your mind.
You said it, but who heard it?
Exhale.
A carbon monoxide declaration,
of the cosmic you who comes after and before.
And if you pay attention— during.
You’re up, 118 Billion— one chance to explore.
Inhale.
Let the breath flood the streets of thought.
Drown the perscribed meaning,
allowing only awareness to float by unscathed.
among the ruins lie answers still gleaning.
Exhale.
Release the shame of 20/20 vision.
if we were meant to know what’s above what’s below,
we’d leave our bodies with keys under the mat,
and gravity would let us go.
