I’ve looked under the couch,

And under the bed.

I’ve looked beneath the chairs,

And in the shed.

I searched in the cabinets,

And in the drawers too,

Then through the shelves,

And in each shoe.

I checked every closet,

And checked in the car,

I even checked the tub,

But no luck so far.

I looked in the garage,

And in the garden too,

Once I finished there,

I had decided I knew.

No matter how far I go,

In every corner of the globe,

I won’t ever find a way

To stop feeling so alone.
