I’m starting to get cold .and I did not have a jacket. I passed a used clothing store and bought an ugly used purple sweater. The color was a faded orange and purple ,with holes on the elbows with no buttons. It fit and it was only $1 dollar. I am not a rich man, so it was good enough to wear to keep warm until I got home.As I was taking it off, I noticed something in the pocket. It was a winning lottery ticket. That day, my whole life changed. I went from rags to riches. I can now afford to buy food , shelter and clothing for my family.So now , in honor and gratitude of the ugly sweater, I wear it every Saturday, come rain or shine .
