I’m using this prompt as part of an ongoing story I’m playing around with.

(Side note: in this one, Stevie can fall in love with the dictator’s daughter while she is trying to gain her trust for inside information to help the rebellion, there can be a love triangle between Stevie, Lottie and the daughter)

Plot:

In a zombie apocalypse a utilitarian government has taken over and created increasingly horrible living situations for the residence. Stevie, Lottie and T are a part of the rebellion, they must win over the trust of the government heads in order to prepare for the rebellion. In this scene, they have been invited to a ball in which they plan to get information out of high-ranking socialites of the governments, inner circle*

T: “Remember we’re JUST talking to him.”

Lottie: “But what if he gets violent?”

T: “Well if it comes to that we’ll do what we need to, to stay safe.”

Lottie: “How can we defend ourselves without weapons?”

*Stevie is putting safety pins in her clothes, clipping heavy chains & Swiss Army knife to belt*

*T looks at her with hooded eyes*

*Lottie tilts her head curiously*

Stevie: “these I bring for reasons unrelated to their intended purpose”

T: *raises eyebrow*

*Stevie, putting on steel toed boots and grabbing an umbrella before walking towards the door*

Stevie:

“weren’t you the one who said people would want to kill me less if i accessorized More?”

T: “i said people might be more inclined to engage in pleasant conversation if you dressed well.”

Stevie: “well, I am dressed to impress… and also murder a little bit-“

L: “- Stevie!”

Stevie: “-maybe! … if it comes to that.”

T: “for your sake I hope it won’t.”

*T grabs a bag and talks while walking through the makeshift garage as the girls follow her*

T: “-Once we make a move on these guys there’s no going back. the entirety of the eastern alliances will become our enemy, so we must avoid their suspension of the rebellion at all costs-“

Stevie: “-they’re already our enemy! And they have been for decades! Look at the way we’re living, this is not the result of a government on our side! Tonight We finally have the chance to meet them with their guards down, I say we treat them with the same hospitality the’ve shown us.”

T: “When the time is right, we will take action. But until then we need their resources. food, shelter, training… we need their trust.”

L: “the last time I tried to gain their trust I had to resort to the last resort…”

(Fast clips of Lottie flirting with the count, he felt her up, she stabbed him, T had to erase his memory)

T: “for the future of our world, we need their trust. No matter how vile the counts personal pursuits are…”

*Lottie looks disgusted down at her feet*

*Stevie looks furious*

*the three climb in a jeep*
