COURAGE
Clinging to fragments, in the dark I groped,
Overcoming sorrows, with addiction I coped.
Unseen battles, fought in silence and fear,
Recovery's light, gradually drawing near.
Admission of powerlessness, from the depths of despair,
Guided by hope, I sought solace in prayer.
now sober and strong, with life's joys at hand.
Emerging from shadows, with courage, I stand.
