WRITING OBSTACLE
Demonstrate. Incapacitate. Solidify.
In a story of no more than 10 sentences, use these three words in any order. The point is to create a story line that allows you to link them all naturally, without forcing them into random places.
For The Love Of Butter
The TV host was talking rapidly as she carried out the steps of the recipe.
“Make sure to solidify the butter first. It makes it easier to slice in thin stripes”. She repeated so the audience understood the importance of that step.
“I”ll demonstrate” she said as the cameraman zoomed in.
“Ohhhhh butterrrrr. This is my kryptonite” she joked with her audience, laughing along too.
“If you ever need to incapacitate me, just give me a meal with loads of butter”
Her audience roared with laughter. They loved her bantering when she cooked. She was good at her job and it showed.
