Emily is standing there with her robe and slippers on in awe as she continues to stare at a blue 2022 Toyota Corolla sitting in her driveway. “Wow I don’t know what to say this is absolutely out of this world. I mean this is exactly what I have been dreaming of for a long time now.” After one more moment of taking it in she finally dashes towards he brother Henry and gives him the tightest hug known to man. “Thank you a thousand times over.” She runs in the house leaving him standing there for just a moment. As he stands there he looks at the car and smiles from cheek to cheek in reassurance that he has made the right decision. Emily returns in her beautiful lavender skirt and black top with her birthday sash wrapped around her that reads 25 AND ALIVE that Henry had also bought for her. She unlocks the car door. “Get in loser we’re going to party.” Henry gets in and they pull off immediately. As soon as Emily turns her third corner the police start following her. She knows that there is no way that could be for her because she’s been driving since she was seventeen and knows not to make any silly mistakes. So she pulls over to let the cops get by…but low and behold the cops were there for her. Henry is silent looking forward as Emily starts to tear up. The cop gets out of their car and walks up to Emily in the drives seat. Emily starts to role down the window and at just a crack the cop already begins to say “get out of the car.” So she does and so does Henry. The cop says “ma’am do you know this vehicle is stolen property?” Emily immediately darts her eyes towards her brother with anger. “No sir I had no idea.” She responds with pursed lips. They both get put in the back of the police car and driven to the precinct. As Emily and Henry are sitting there Emily says “Why could you give me a stolen car? Didn’t you realize how much trouble this would cost?” He responds with “I didn’t think about that.” Still very angry she counters with “you don’t think about anything.”
