Dear Diary,

I feel like your going to think I’m crazy, even though you’re a book, but I have to tell it to someone. No one will believe me, so I can only trust myself for this one. I might want to tell the whole story though. It started like a normal Saturday morning. Woke up, ate breakfast, watched some of the Chamber of Secrets, (wink), that stuff. But I went on a walk, and I swear I saw a flash of green in the sky. I squinted at it, and it was gone. I shrugged it off, but I felt weird after that, like someone was watching me.

At about 6:30, little kids started coming to the door. Guess they had dinner already. I was getting ready to go with my friends, Skye and Lucas. I was going as a pirate this year. I’d say I looked pretty fierce. Anyway, we met up and started around my neighborhood. I thought I saw another green flash, but it wasn’t there. But at 10:00, I was heading home, when I suddenly saw a giant green face staring at me. It didn’t actually talk, but I could hear it in my mind, just whispering and booming. He said, “YOU MUST DIE.” I screamed and sprinted back home. I ran into my room and locked the door, panting. I sat on my bed and tried to calm down. After a bit of crying and lots of water, I felt a little better, telling myself it was just my imagination. You might wonder what happened after that. Well, it’s simple. I died. I’m okay, though. But apparently when you die from the Green Ghost........... You become it.
