Powerful Emotion
Like a child being interrogated
It meekly brought itself to the table
Opened its eyes to the larger presences
And spoke
It told of happenings the way only a child could
Spoke with a shaky voice with eyes darting down
Describing the scene and reliving it at the same time
All the while acting like a child, the truth was hidden
Reality being obscured by feelings and emotion
Only slowing letting facts triumph fiction
As each won battle allowed a slow victory for the war
While one side had the larger moment
The tales strung were not ones to weave together
Details that drew tears did not add up with others
Like a child being caught in their lies, a priceless face
The truth finally came to light
