An Ode To Right-Angles
If there's something that especially pleases me,
It's when the two lines of a triangle make 90 degrees.
Less than that might be called "acute",
But it's the perfect 90 that's really a beaut!
For obtuse angles, I don't have the time,
They're at their worst when they're almost a straight line!
God proves her existence by leaving us clues,
And there's no clue clearer than the hypotenuse.
I hope you'll forgive me if I come across as rude,
But the beauty of right-angles is rarely understood,
Only Pythagorus and I have been left with our mouths agape,
At this truly and wonderfully perfect shape!
