POEM STARTER

“We live in a land where the footprints of ghosts linger.”

Use this line to start or end a poem. It can be any genre as long as you feel it fits the sentence well.

The Banner On The Pavement

We live in a land where the footprints of ghosts linger.

While we put up the middle finger,

to those that try and find.

Because with our awareness we care less, about those that we left behind

Not in a bad way,

we just don’t want to relive that nadir day.

We try to live our lives in a halcyon manner.

Knowing that those footprints are a banner, for our new path on earth.

Knowing that those ghosts were here first,

Its only knowing they can’t walk next to you that’s the worst.
