to all the stars who listen
waves from sharp seas crash on the ragged shore
Whilst our love fades evermore
Stars gleam like diamonds on a velvet sheet
Just as the moon begins it’s regular greet
I am made entirely of flaws stitched together by good intentions
My mouth can only spit venom
leaving my heart to make interventions
a shield ; my eyes appear colder than steel
That’s why i knew you were different , because you showed me how to feel
but my heartless words finally took a toll
causing reality to hit that i really am i broken soul
now i sit alone at the place we watched the sea in sync
regretting pushing away the one person who i loved in a blink
i watch as you walk past me , believing you may approach but it’s all in my head
as my remaining sanity is as thin as a thread.
so now i lay back against the wet sand where we used to lay together , not even regarding the harsh weather
All i do now is remember you in the clouds , the moon as it glistens.
The sun and the sky , the stars who listen.
