Wandering through the never-ending bastion, I pondered about how the government managed to build all of this in only two weeks, and how all the unique patterns and shades of the walls mimicked how a building would look like after thousands of years, and the most interesting part is how they managed to get so many exotic creatures. The tranquil forest-green glow lit up my face, guiding me forward, step by step.

“Aster?” Lily stuttered, her voice faltered then started again “There’s something you need to see.”

I peered back at the direction her voice came from, and saw her silhouette poking out of what seemed to be an entrance of some sort. I cautiously walked to her not knowing what to expect. As I got closer I noticed that she wasn’t moving, not the’ just standing there’ not moving ‘the she’s not even breathing’ not moving. It was like she was a statue! I called for her but no answer came.

I kept moving towards her, this time with a more alarmed mindset.

And as the warm green lights shone on Lily, they uncovered a chilling sight, the once soothing lights were now shining an evil tone, casting dread upon my mind. The ghastly image flashed before me once again, and all I could think about was her cold grey skin.

Through the menacing walls of terror feast your eyes on this beast of horror but if she locks eyes with you then gone gone you will be unless you find the reflecting light then out from the nightmare you will ride like a knight in shining armor but oh no rest for you and I as more lie behind each and every door so come on get your courage going as this story is not ending

It was a bit long but in a good way as you filled the paragraphs

with a lot of show don’t tell and description and the way you describe

the ending was amazing especially since you added a plot twist.

I would never suspect that ending.
