though i’d never admit,

because saints have a dark side,

and sinners aren’t all that bad,

but you placed yourself so high,

and your failure made me glad,

you’ll get what you deserve,

for what you’ve done to me,

given me the fear

it’s all i’m meant to be,

a spineless, broken soul,

i’ve seen it in my dreams,

i’ll break your heart tomorrow,

i’ll rip it from the seams,

you’ve pushed me past caring,

and that i’m grateful for,

i used to be so scared,

but that was me before,

now i want my name back,

my body and my mind,

you don’t deserve my poetry,

but i was known for being kind,

i’ll seal your coffin,

tomorrow when i see you,

it’ll hurt you for a while,

but it’s just what you’re due,

leave me alone now,

turn the other way,

let me be again,

with the words i will say.
