POEM STARTER
Write a poem where the first line of each stanza uses internal rhyme.
Internal rhyme is where words within the same line, or in the middle of different lines, rhyme with each other (not the last word of each line rhyming). e.g. 'I let you see a side of me that isn't seen often'.
Sea
Wondering whether you see the sea or do you see me.
Yearning to be near the sea in order to see the truth about me.
What is it I fear this year, to shed another tear.
New dat dawns with a yawn and a dawn and a same old song.
Living life without strife while dreading the time coming near.
I nearly fear the year my dear, shedding tears.
The day ends, new friends to begin anew.
