I walk around the barren nothingness as I feel an overwhelming sensasation. I fall to the grass as I look to the moon. I imagine what he’s doing up there. I wonder if he ever thought of me. The idiot who fell in love with him and stayed on earth. When everyone else left. When it was proven that if you stay, you will die. I imagine him remembering the nights we spent staring at the stars. The nights we spent praising the very earth he left. I feel the life leave my chest. I look around as I hear a buzzing noise. I look up as I see him run off his ship. I try and get up but fall trying. I see him run towards me as he grabs me and sobs.
