I was asleep when the car jerked to a halt. It woke me up instantly. I yelled at our driver, which woke my other friends up.

Seb who was sitting in the front next to Peter looked over to him and screamed. We all leaned over to take a look, only to see he’d died. I knew he’d had too much to drink the night before but I didn’t know he was that bad.

We were stranded in the middle of the Nevada desert, none of us apart from Peter could drive so we were screwed. That was until we saw a bright light ahead of us. I know it sounds ridiculous, but it’s true aliens came out of nowhere and helped us.

Look I don’t know why they helped us, we’re just normal teenagers on a road trip around the US. Maybe they felt sorry for us?
