Mirror Mirror On The Wall
No no no no.
It can’t be happening. It shouldn’t be happening.
“My body is my own. I am myself. I am dreaming or better yet dead.” The princess spoke to herself.
Closing her eyes hard once more she opens them again to find herself standing in the same old apartment as she did three years ago. A fading grey couch was shoved up against one of the sage green walls. Other pieces of mismatched furniture was scattered around the mostly empty apartment as well.
Taking a deep breath the princess decides she has to make sure. If it was just like last time. She walks down a short hallway to the bathroom door.
Hesitating outside she looks to the living room. She still clung to the hope it was just a nightmare. That there was no way she could’ve ended up back at Earth.
Facing the door again she shoves it open and stares into the mirror.
She meets the starting blue eyes she thought she’d never wear again.
Instead of the blood red lips, hair black as night, and skin pale as snow she belonged in, her hair was a white blonde, olive skin, and pale pink lips.
This was not her, the princess stumbled back.
This was not Snow White.
