It’s always the palms that give away people’s true involvement into the game. Palms cupping a head might indicate frustrated boredom, palms holding a head could belong to someone in deep thought, and palms holding a chin always belong to the scheming mind plotting the next move. The pieces all laid out, they are signifiers of the collective suspension of disbelief without which they could move freely and unobstructed by any rules. And without which, the hidden pathways that lay before these engaged minds could never be unlocked.
