5/7
We only ever had five. Maybe the other two are waiting for us, but if they are I don’t know. What I do know is that we have five.
Friday came first, busting into our little group like a an explosion of flames. Her fire burned brighter than any of ours, and she knew it.
Next was Sunday, with red hair tied up and styled to frame her soft face. She spoke kind words in a near whisper. When she talked it was if flowers grew in your chest, and she knew it.
Third was Wednesday, intelligent honey eyes bore into you as she spoke of her newest fascination. Her always objective stances forced the group to stand strong together. Her wit and wisdom was the reason we are still together, and she knew it.
Saturday came after, long brown hair pulled back out of her face as to never hinder her hijinks. Even in the worst times she never failed to make those around fill with joy at the simple fact of her presence. Even on the darkest days she was our light, and she knew it.
Monday was last, her jet black hair and piercing blue eyes showed the illusion of intimidation, an illusion she did not try to dispute as it gave her a power that the rest of us did not possess. However underneath this mask her true self was a symbol of new beginnings, of leadership. She was the leader of us, and she knew it.
