Those hazel eyes are soft; eyes that don’t belong to a killer.

Write a short story that contains this line or centres around the idea.

Don’t Belong To A Killer

I stand still staring at a wanted warrant sticking to the brick wall of the street, thinking.

_So this is the serial killer that mercilessly killed five children huh? He looks so innocent, it’s actually difficult to associate him with a killer_.

I thought, then gone back home from the street.

_This is none of my business anyway, it’s not like I’m going to find him._

I thought again while getting up the stairs of the apartment. After I entered the room, I immediately went to bed, my work is really tiring for me, a 18 years old young man. If your wondering why didn’t I lock the door, it’s because this area is really secure, there’s just no need. A nice sleep I got, but still, it’s another work day so I have no choice but to leave my cozy bed. But as I exit my room, I saw someone that I really didn’t expect to see, the wanted killer.

_Why is he here? What was he doing here? Will he kill me? Why me?_

These questions instantly popped out of my head, but my body was paralyzed by the shock to do anything but shiver. Unexpectedly, as he finally noticed my presence, he too, was shocked.

“I-I can explain this.” He said, then I glanced over my kitchen, it is messing.

“Aren’t you the serial killer?” I questioned him.

“N-no, actually I’m framed by the actual killer, he’s wealthy and held great power. I can’t do anything but hide from the police for now, I’m just here to find some food, I haven’t eat anything for days.” He explained. I can tell that he’s telling me the truth, his eye is one that don’t belong to a killer.

“If that’s so, eat whatever you want, it must be hard for you to hide from the police.” I said, he thanked me and after I gone to work, I’ve never seen him again.
