Natures Argument

If wishes fell like rain surely I am a storm

Good things come to those who wait

But not to those who mourn

Strangled by overgrown roots of the weeping willow tree

It will always leave me, guessing if I was ever truly free

If promises fell like rain, surely you’re a flood

Here to wash away remains and memories drenched in blood

Nature is something beautiful, Heartbreaking and profound

But this weather is something different with a haunting type of sound

Eventually we will forget our future, present and our past as we quietly ask ourselves

How long will this storm last?
