The large chunk of space mineral screamed through the sky high above the planet. Losing most of its mass upon entry into earth’s atmosphere created a brilliant orange and red tail indicating where it had come from. The air itself supercharged as the meteorite came crashing down to the plane’ts surface, reducing hundreds of acres to little more than ash and dust hanging in the air.
