It’s the end of January

Almost February

Valentines is around the corner

And yet I still wish I had much longer

What should I buy my valentine?

It’s hard to know what she wants

Chocolates, roses, hearts, jewellery, dresses?

Oh I just can’t tell

I’m not a girl

I have absolutely no idea what they like

Well except shopping, my girlfriend loves it

But what do they buy?!

All those gifts sound so cliche

Too common…

I mean maybe I should give her an onion like Carol Ann Duffy says…

But I’m not sure… that’s a bit weird to me

Not too expensive…

not too cheap

But all of this is killing me

What do I really do?

Maybe I should try make something

Who said I had to buy?

I should try to be creative and cute

Try to be unique

Make something special

But what…

A cake? No I’m terrible at baking

Or just cooking in general

But what should I make for her

To treasure forever

To bury it in her heart

Till death do us part

I want to let it sink in

That I love her

more than anything too…

Music,maths and writing too…

I’m writing a love poem

That’s perfect, it’s so cute

But hold on I’m writing now

I could give this to her…

Show her my thoughts and effort

My struggle to think

But I did it for her…

To read and laugh at it

I’m embarrassed too…
