My favorite sound is when someone smiles and laughs. The gentle pull of their lips to morph from a grin to a smile invites a soft crackle of the saliva pulling away from any cracks or crevices or ridges. Like the feeling of your fingers grazing lush moss in the forest; soft, firm, and satisfying all at once. The inhale in preparation is akin to sticking your feet in the cool waves, lapping up your calves. Then the tense, yet freeing sensation of laughter is let loose in a blanket of comfort, like the tight hug they’ll give you in joy and happiness. We share this light and breath of fresh air together and no matter how we sense, it will never change the love I feel and see when I’m with you.
