POEM STARTER

In the end, we only regret the chances we didn’t take.

Write a poem ending with this line.

Revolution

It didn't used to be like this Constant threat and alarm The exhaustion that followed As we averted our eyes And made believe we knew nothing Nothing about him The plans he inspired Our the desire to be free for him Long forgotten in many But we know the truth now Even though enlightenment stings It's what you do with knowledge Many of us no longer fight But our motto lives Fight until forced to die But never quit before then Because as we all fall by one Every one of us know it In the end, we only regret chances When we don't take them When we fail to even see them
