You brightened my day when all I could see were the storms

I wish you the best, truly, I just thought I’d be w/ you for the rest of our lives.

You went w/ your bright sunny future & confused self & left me w/ strobing thunderstorms that threatened to take over.

You don’t need me to forgive you bc I wrecked us, but I have. It kills me every time I see you happy, chatting w/ an old mutual friend, knowing what I could’ve had. None of them talk to me anymore. But it’s not your fault I’m stuck like this. None of this has ever been on you.

I’m so sorry for everything that happened, all the pain I caused you. You deserve all the best.
