If water could talk to fire then maybe they could find a way to dance

Beautifully… together

In a way that contains them both without stretching eachother too thin.

Kind of like how earth listens to water?

Or how air feeds fire to burn brighter without losing itself.

If fire could just talk to water in a way that offered comfort without smothering.

Maybe they could exist side by side,

Each strong. Each undimished.

Earth has a way of mirroring us all.

And sometimes fires heat strikes the mirror too hard. Shattering it into shards of glass littered all over its own glory.

Maybe fire belongs with fire.

And water with water.

And earth and air?

Well they were never meant to meet for more than a moment anyway..
