What love will do to you
The kids are safe and sound asleep. Goodnight Jack and Jordan. Mike gets off of work in an hour so I will wait up for him. I might watch a movie until he gets here. I’ll watch a movie called, What Love Will Do To You. It’s about this girl who divorced an abusive guy, with the two kids they had together. Than she married a new man and lived her dream life. It sounds like a good movie.
After thirty minutes into the movie, I’m starting to get tired.
RING RING RING!!!
“Hello?”
“Honey, I’m going to be home late. I’m in the office caught up on paperwork.”
“I was waiting for you Mike.”
“I know hon, I’ll make it up to you later. I promise.”
“Fine. I love you.”
“Love you. Bye hon.”
I guess I’m about to go to sleep then. I’ll see Mike later. After I turned all the lights off around the house, I was going to head upstairs, until I heard a noise like...
BOOM!! CLANG!!!
“Hello, who’s there?” I wimpier.
Silence
“Show yourself!!” I scream.
CLING!! Glass broke
Than suddenly... it went black, and a hand with the smell of a cigarette and latex gloves, covered my mouth. I was tightly squeezed in the arms of someone very strong, and I was hugged with a tight rope around me. When I looked behind me to see who was doing such horrible things, I was hit on the head with a glass. Then I passed out...
I woke up in a chair. I’m tied in a chair in my living room. I see someone in all black walk pass me.
“Where are my kids!!?” Was my first concern.
“You mean our kids, Lisa!!” Was there response.
“Jason? Why are you doing this?”
“So, what does Mike give you that I can’t. Those are our kids!!”
“Jason, you need to got to rehab!! Mike does not hurt me and he’s a better father figure!!”
“Well, love will do this to you.”
At that moment a gun was held to my head, and I was half conscious.
“Jason, you don’t have to do this!! Think about our kids...”
“Stop talking, Lisa!!” Jason yelled, aiming the gun back and forth between me and him.
BOOM!!!!
Jason fell forward, falling on me, smearing his blood on my glowing yellow. Mike was left standing behind him, holding a gun up, in shock.
“Mike, you just saved my life!!” I said, still in shock, with tears rolling down my face.
“I know.” Mike responded, with a look of horror on his face.
