Poison.

Write a descriptive poem about something poisonous, and its effect on its target. This could be literal or metaphorical.

Thoughts

Thoughts are like poison Once we have them they don’t go away The eat us on the inside Tearing us apart They have the ability to stop the strongest person Or to kill our dreams We can’t stop our thoughts We can only live with them
