Don’t leave, Clyde.

Abigail swiped away the tear dripping down her face. She knew her face was blotchy, but she didn’t care. “Clyde! Please! You can’t leave! You might die!”

Clyde smiled sadly. “Abby, I don’t have a choice. It’s war. And I’ll try to return, but I can’t promise.”

Clyde put his arm around her and captured her lips in his own. “Babe, what did eat last. You taste like garlic. Eww.”

Abigail laughed and playfully smacked him, even though she was still crying.

“Honk! Honk!”

Clyde let go of Abigail. “Hun, I gotta catch the bus or I’ll miss the plane!” He turned to go but Abby held tighter. “Then miss it! Please Clyde! I need you!”

“I know, babe. But it’s needed. I love you.”

Before she could say anything, he kissed her again and bolted away. She broke down. She collapsed to the concrete ground and wept, bitterly. She ended up laying down as the bus drove away. Her head was buried and she wailed.

Yep! And this is where I end it!! Continue?
