I’ve never really looked too deep into the story of the song but it sounds like Eminem is in a rap battle. The lyrics obviously make it out that Eminem is quite full of himself but I mean, what can you say? It’s a rap battle. Quite a few times, he would insult his opponent but calling him a faggot, the definition of the word is not any different than it was during that day but it seems like the meaning of the word has changed so much since then. Kind of like the meaning of the N-word has changed since the last hundred years.

In terms of the melody, I actually kind of like the way it sounds but the beat wouldn’t exactly be hot 100 worthy. The reason I like the song is because it holds a record, no more and no less.

Recently, I’ve seen about two tiktoks where people have memorized the supersonic speed verse and rapped at the same speed (or faster) than Eminem. I really want to try to do that as well.
