Write a poem that focuses on the theme of imagination.

You could think about the role of imagination itself, or just get really creative and write your own imaginative poem.

I’ve got a few ideas for prose and poetry, but how does one change what has been laid out for hundreds of years? How does one influence others to think of new ideas and new choices to be seen?

I tend to experiment. I learned the rules strictly, then broke them.

e e cumnings is great to read as inspiration on how to break the rules.

I've played with haiku, senyru, Eye-ku, eye poems, all sorts of things. Of course, that means a number of them just won't work for your audience. But it's about the joynof playing and learning and finding your voice and your style.
