Liam gathered up his courage to tell his wife whom he had been with for 6 years that he was a superhero. His wife was in astonishment, she laughed and said, “Stop joking around, Liam, you are just an ordinary person.” Liam sighed and said, “I am sorry Rose, I have hid this from you for 6 years, I want your forgiveness but unfortunately I have to go and save hunmanity. I may or may not survive but I still love you.”

Rose looked at him in disbelief, this was so wild to her, her husband is a superhero?! She could not believe him! But she knew that he is a serious type of person and that he is probably telling the truth. She held back her tears and said, “Even if this is true, Liam. You said you are gonna go save humanity and that you may not survive.”

She took a deep breath and said quiveringly, “But we have a son, Liam! And I am pregnant with your second child, how could you just leave us like that?!” Liam was shocked, and said, “You are pregnant?!” “Yes I am”, Rose replied. Liam looked at her apologetically and said, “I am so sorry but I have to go now.” And then he soared across the sky and disappeared.

Rose looked at the trail that he left behind and sobbed.
