WOWOW!!! 🎉👏This poem is SPECTACULAR!! It really makes you think. My favorite line is “all that reigns is not just” because it’s such a thought-provoking point at the end of the stanza. From that point on, I was hooked! I love your imagery with the lines “Not all arrows leave the quiver / racing up towards the sky.” It made me picture a bunch of arrows shooting into the air with one still hooked in someone’s bow. And the next stanza too: “Not all traitors carry guilt… Not all lovers really love” !!! what a striking example of how poetry can examine the human condition and what affects us. So fascinating . And the end about the mockingjay… astounding!! I can’t think of any critique. Stellar work!!! 👏🎉👏🎉
I would get rid of the contraction that’s and replace it with « that is ». Love the clarity bold themes here.
Very powerful! Haven’t read the hungers games prequel, but still packs a lot of meaning! Very thought provoking.
I loved the ballad of songbirds and snakes. This poem is truly beautiful 🥲
This is amazing!
