POEM STARTER
Write a poem that could be sung as a lullaby.
You could set it to the tune of an existing lullaby, or think up your own rhythm. Remember that lullabies are for children, and are ususally meant to be calming.
The Lad’s Story
There once was a lad who love to sing
He laughed and danced
And brightens up everything
Along down the road he spreads his joy
He tells stories of his journey
The journey of the little boy
The little boy was small but mighty
Although he can be nice
Don’t take his kindness lightly
Everyone wanted to show him their love
Every girl wanted him
Every guy wanted to be like the man above
His awesomeness he shows is sure true
And he will grow up to be even better
Because that boy is you
Good night son and sleep well little lad
