POEM STARTER

If wishes fell like rain, then certainly I am a storm.

Write a poem with this as the opening or closing line.

Wishes

I used to wish for the same

Three things a vagina, a size 8 body

And one hundred million dollars.

That was before a slip left me lame

And sore in so many ways

Now I would like a long walk,

A strong grip and turn my neck

Without sounding like small

Arms fire. Many other things are

On my wish list now, no simplicity

There, more generalized and simple

Health for those I know,

Peace to all, shelter for the needy,

So many things I can wish for.

If wishes fell like rain,

I certainly am a storm.
