Always wonderful to find deep wisdom in just a few lines! I still have lines in my head from a Spanish poem that I memorized for class when I was 11 years old, I’ve always loved the opening line: I open my wings before they begin to cry…I don’t know if you like ‘Magical Realism’, often used in Latin literature…if so I just read a book of short stories that is really good: The Rock Eaters by Brenda Peynado.
