The wind was howling as Ella and Ty rushed through the snowy woods sprinting desperately to get away from their parents. This was the last chance they would ever get to have freedom at last.

12 Hours Earlier.

Ella and Ty’s parents Daniel and Tina Bezos weren’t in the right mental headspace and were inconsiderate mentally abusive people, but one day it got out of control and Daniel hit Ella as she spoke about wanting to go to a college out of town. Ty dashed to be in front of El, that’s what he called Ella. Even though Ty was younger than Ella he was still very protective of her. Ty got a blackeye when Daniel hit him aiming for Ella.

El went back to Ty to see if he was okay, he was but they both went to their room and pretended to be asleep. When their parents had both gone to sleep they got up and grabbed the two “go-bags” they had made and escaped out the window onto the porch roof. They jumped down from the roof quietly as to not wake Daniel and Tina,their parents.

They had already made a plan as to where to go if things ever got bad again, so they stumbled a good 60 meters before turning on the flashlights and started running to the south away from the road. They knew that their parents would hear and see them if they started running and turning on the flash lights near the house. Ty and El knew that if they got caught this time they wouldn’t see another day so they desperately ran to El’s friend’s house but it was nearly an hour away If you are in a car.

Ty started to get tired and so El gave him a piggy back ride for about ten minutes until she found a nice open area to unravel the sleeping bags. It was about 10:15 right now and they had made it a fourth of the way to Nina’s house, El’s friend, so El felt it was a good spot to stop and they could go the rest of the way tomorrow.

When they got up El’s phone was ringing and she saw that it was her dad and she hung up right away and got Ty up and packed everything into their “go-bags”. El desperately called Nina and then 9-1-1. She told Nina where they were and to come get them. She told the 9-1-1 call operator everything they asked of her like where they were, their names, who was trying to get to them.

Nina showed up with her dad right after their dad caught up to them. Daniel and Tina caught Ella and Ty by the hair and Nina’s dad got out of his pick-up truck and punched Daniel in the face and Nina rushed to get Ty out of Tina’s grasp. Nina got Ty and El into the bed of her dad’s truck right as the police showed up.

Tina fled as fast as she could into the snowy woods whilst Daniel and Marcus, Nina’s dad, were wrestling each other to the ground. Marcus had Daniel pinned to the snowy and icy ground when the police arrested Daniel.

The police finally apprehended Tina when she was about 30 meters from where she fled. They were both caught and Daniel was sentenced for two charges of abuse of a minor and two charges of 2nd degree attempted murder. Tina got charged with two charges of accessory to abuse of a minor and two charges of accessory to 2nd degree attempted murder. Tina got 28 years and Daniel got 39e years.

El and Ty went into foster care and Marcus and his wife ended up adopting them both. Three years after Tina and Daniel got charged El and Ty and their new family went camping where Daniel got arrested and celebrated them surviving those monsters.
