I never was a bigger believer in the holidays. Santa, Easter Bunny, Spirits, Saints, I found them…unnecessary. Holidays were invented to give temporary relief and comfort to the mundane routines of life. A break from running around in circles, chasing after an empty promise.

I never realized until it was ₲Ø₦Ɇ.

They intertwined their hands with mine and we smiled warmly as we closed our eyes, purposefully ignoring the oncoming blast. For the first time in years, knew what it truly meant to believe.
