Dear mom,

Even when you cry

Or when I stress you out

Maybe when you try

And when I pout

I begin to doubt

So please take this as note

When you carry a tote

Full of my favorite things for college

And when you wanted that last piece of cake

You still offered it to me

So please take

This thank you you’ll see

How much you’ve cared for me
